I like the clip ,that is very easy to put on and take off. The belt loop is good when I want to put it on permanently. This is a solid holder .it holds my 12v drill nicely. It may fit a larger drill but I didn't try. If I put on a heavier drill to this porch l will not use the belt clip for it might be too heavy and the whole thing might felling out from the belt. Over all. Love it .love the magnet holder too. For the price,I thing it was a good purchase.
