I usually buy Makita. I wanted a small but powerful drill and was just gonna buy the Makita version but this was on special and was $50 cheaper and came with 2 batteries and charger. So far the only thing I do not like is the location of the LED light. It doesn't do as well as having the LED near the tip. For its size it is very fast and powerful.I like this drill. Works well, good value for the price. My only issue with it is there is no threaded insert installed in it for adding a belt clip to it.FOR UNDER A HUNDRED BUCKS: drill (with headlight)... 2 18v batteries... charger... drill bit... carrying case. Find me a better value.Replaces a cordless Hitachi. Uses the same batteries which is a huge plus since I have really bought into the Hitachi cordless tools (impact driver, sawzall, work light, flashlight, cordless drill). This is much smaller and lighter than the drill it replaces and it seems to last much longer on a charge. The LED light is kind of useless since it's positioned in a way that is doesn't really light up where you need it. The last drill took a beating for years so I hope this one lasts just as long. This little drill is great. I've acquired a few Hitachi/Metablo HPT cordless tools and am "locked in" with this battery. The good news is that they make really good and sturdy tools. No issues with this drill or several others that get from light to heavy use. This drill doesn't have enough power...even with a fully charged battery. I normally have good success with Metabo products but this one is a dud.I’ve already completed three major projects thanks to this little beauty. It’s a great drill!!Great little drill. Does the job and is nicely controllable as to speed.I have an older Hitachi-branded bigger brother of this Metabo but they both are great. I bought this drill to replace a dud Ridgid, and also because I have had another Hitachi battery-powered drill for many, many years and it has performed very well. I also have a Milwaukee which is adequate and robust, however a design problem puts the reverse switch in an awkward position when requiring pressure to drive the screws. The Milwaukee is heavy, but at least the battery life is good. Our shop also has a Porter Cable 20volt drill, but it is a bottom-end name. Given our history with Hitachi, we would rate Metabo as slightly better than Milwaukee, and much better value for dollar spent. Don't waste your money on Ridgid, Skil, Craftsman or PorterCable.Great drill lots of power and awesome in tight places. Will buy another one when my old one diesTiene mucha fuerza solo es atornillador y taladro no es rotomartillo. Trabaja excelenteCumple y exede su trabajo
