I bought this to remove gel polish more quickly than acetone alone. If you alternate soaking your nails for a couple of minutes and then using the cone or barrel tips to remove a layer of polish it gets the job done nicely without damaging your nails. There is a guide that tells you what each tip is for, and I found each tip was useful. take your time and be patient, it works! The only thing that could make it better is if there was a way to turn it on without constantly holding the button down. But I Understand the way it is designed it’s probably safer on nails.Lightweight and easy to use and performs the job as described! Was missing a part and the seller sent another as promised! Very satisfied!2 pc barrel works but assembly challenging. Not sure 2 pc barrel with markings not aligned but works anyway. Can't complain.Feels cheap and it isn't very powerful, but it does the job. Purchased to help save time removing dip manicures and it works alright. For the price I paid, it's acceptable.Thought it couldn't be a bad idea to save money and start doing my nails myself until I almost shredded my nail bed.It's not hard to operate but somethings are meant for professionals.It didn't do the job I wanted to do. It would take too long to removed the layer of acrylic on my nails. I'll use the tool for lesser jobs.Use it some for nails, and also as a mini dremel kit.I was looking for an electric nail file that was easy enough for beginners, and wouldn't break the bank. This product is definitely it. What made the experience even better is the amazing customer service. I did have an issue with one of the attachments getting stuck and broken, but I contacted customer service right away. I received a timely response from a very helpful, kind, and apologetic associate, who sent a replacement tool out already.So I'm sitting here trapped in my house, thanks Covid for shutting the world down, and I'd like to not get out of this looking like I have claws but can't go get my nails done. Unfortunately, the white drill is absolutely not effective on gel, it stops spinning once the head touches the nail. Will be returning.#clawlifeI gave it 3 stars and not 1 because it is a nice product, affordable, arrived quickly, and well packaged and I suspect it would be something I'd be happy with if I wasn't trying to use it on gel.Easy to use. Need 2 AA batteries. Very light and holds well in the hands (good size).Recently I bought gel polish and I was a bit worried to remove it. I thought it would be long and arduous. But with the metal tip, it took me 5 minutes to remove the bulk of the gel polish.Really cheap price and does the job very well.The pictures in the instructions book could be a little clearer, but otherwise it's okay. Very satisfied.I purchased this product on march 2, 2019. I just received it today. It is not at all what I ordered. For some reason the pictures have changed and I can't prove what I ordered. Guess I am stuck with this one. Not very happy right now.As for a review, it does work. 2 AA batteries have to go in with + facing top. When you are connecting it to the bottom make sure both the little silver connectors will touch or it won't turn on.The 5 tips have to be pushed in hard to stay. They all work nicely.We will see how long this product lasts. Only time will tell. I gave it a 4 star as it is not what I ordered.This nail drill fails in many categories. I’ll start with the good points: it does function generally speaking.On the negative side: arrived without a box in a dirty, threadtorn bag that was ‘satin’ and very nasty. Yuck ? that went into the garbageThe file itself also was dirty and used and so were the files that came with it.I threw out everything it came with and cleaned it with alcohol and found that it did (to my surprise) work. BUT the torque on it is very slow/low power and it doesn’t have any gumption.Better than nothing but there are better buys out there for the same price so it’s no excuse to order this one!Purchased this nail file drill to use with cleaning up 3D prints.Works great for that, with the lower power sanding, spins slow enough that it doesn’t melt the plastic making it easier and quicker to get into detailed areas.As far as its functionality for what its intended for I can not speak for that. It has however been consistent in quality while using and is well built for what you get for the price. Would recommend.
