It's cheaper than buying a charger alone, and is an incredible value for what you get. The battery stays charged for a long time (charged once a week with medium use,) and the drills hold up very well. Only think that possible to consider by Skil is make the charger auto volt since here in PH were using 220v and most of the appliance or electronic is now applicable with this.The impact driver was NOT in the box with the regular drill as advertised.This was supposed to be a combo deal but turnd out to be otherwise..........Hubby was working on a room in the cellar when his trusty drill that was at least 20 years old stopped working. He chose the 20V cordless drill driver and impact driver as the replacement and loves it!!!Very goodThey all are weaker than 12volt models, but also cheaper than 12volt models. If you have a 20volt battery, it might be a good deal for occasional use.
