These have been such a perfect purchase! We have 5 floor-to-ceiling windows in a row--our front door itself is a large window, plus four additional windows next to it (see photo). Privacy and security have definitely been a concern since we moved in several years ago, but we never liked any solutions until now. We had considered using some sort of one-way film on the glass, but that still wouldn't offer any privacy at night, which is when we really need it. My husband really didn't want to put something big and bulky over the windows, which would obscure the view of our front yard (lots of trees and wildlife), block the light, and ruin the look of these beautiful windows in the living room...I had been advocating (i.e., arguing with my husband, LOL) for some cordless honeycomb blinds, but they were always SO expensive, especially given the amount of area we needed to cover! So when I recently came across these-- up-down/bottom-up, cordless, honeycomb blinds, made of fabric (not paper), in just the neutral color we wanted, AND with great reviews, AND were affordable--I knew I had finally found what we were looking for! We ordered one panel to start, and see how we liked it. It arrived early, and was super easy to install, and looked great. We ordered the remaining four right away, and they, too, arrived several days earlier than the predicted delivery date. We *love* these blinds, and they offer all the flexibility we were looking for, including good privacy at night. So happy we found these!I highly recommend buying these blinds! You will be glad you did! I measured my window and deducted an inch from each of my measurements (length & width) and ordered that size. It seemed to take long to receive my blinds but, it may be because they are custom made to each requested window size and I was anticipating its arrival. I’d say it took a little over a week and a half to receive them. Setup was quick and easy for even the large blind we put up. To our dismay, the blind we received was defective. It was lopsided, hanging lower on the left side. It was upsetting since we had it in the largest and most used room in the house and we did not want to wait long for a replacement or have to go without a blind. We contacted the company about our issue and they (Dakota) were very attentive and provided the best customer service. They provided some possible solutions to fix the slant in our blind. And after those steps did not work, they quickly issued us a new one. It arrived faster than our original order and these newly issued blinds were perfect! We love these unique blinds and can’t wait to show them off to friends and family.Love my blinds. At first I couldn't figure out how to install them. I called the company and they sent me a video and instructions via email. I will buy blinds again from them! Trader Blinds gets Five Stars***** for sure.I love these blinds because it allows lots of light to come into the room and provides the amount of privacy we were looking for. Most of all I was very impressed with the customer sevice we received. We erroneously received 3 equally sizes blinds. The took information to re-cut another blind with a correct fitting. Also, they asked the exact dimension of the are theblinbs would cover. Other companies asked you to provide the dimensions and then apply a formula & submit it in the order.This company through Amazon made it simple.7The delivery did take longer than expected, but we were very please with the final product.1) Customer service and communication were excellent. They reached out to ensure I submitted the correct measurements. 2) Good quality. These were exceptional quality for the price. We've only had them for about 3 weeks but so far they work like a charm and were super easy to install. 3) Look great! We got the Ivory and the color is exactly what we expected.Works as described. Would buy again.I like the fact that I don't have to have strings hanging down turn the blinds I can open them from top or bottom I love itLove these, wanted blinds that opened from top, now we just see trees and sky, no neighbors, easy install, look nice too1
