I was as nervous about switching from corded to cordless, but after my Oster fast feeds quit on me I was in a pinch! I’m am pleasantly surprised by the quality of these clippers. For $25 bucks !?! I struck gold lol literally! They are stylish too! I would have happily paid $80 or more for these . This clipper by phaseton appears to be strongly inspired by the whal 5 star cordless clipper, but they are improved a bit with the digital battery indicator. When they arrived I used them on two 30 min men’s haircuts and the battery was at 88%. US users will need a wall adapter as this product , because it does not come with it. This increasing the price by $10. They are a nice weight, but not heavy like the Andis masters corded clipper that I was using before the Osters. Also, these are pretty Quiet which I love since I can’t hear people over their masks now! These clipper do not come zero gapped, but they are customizable. I was able to zero gap them , but it was a little challenging because of the spring. Not too bad! They did a great job on straight textured hair as well as curly hair , and it was also able to drive through thicker hair as well . I love these! I only rated them 4 star because of the wall plug and because I don’t know how long they’ll last . I’m planning to order another pair just in case .I like the feel of plastic sturdy very smooth finish. Believe the designs are digitally printed on. On the right had side there a little fading to the design so it looks rather gray than black in spots motor cover looks great same quality plastic. Didn’t like the feel of the lever they sent but it does look pretty as well. Swapped it with a old black lever I had. This is EXACTLY AS PICTURED. No more no lessYOU WILL NEED ADDITIONAL PARTS OR A DONOR PAIR OF CLIPPERS TO MAKE THIS COMPLETELY FUNCTIONALEx. Screws cam follower, cutting blade holder, tension springs all that good stuff can’t wait for the second she’ll to show upGood value. Motpr sounds a tad better than some generic brands... battery life could be better after 30% power decreases greatly. Blade on this model is good and slightly thinner than other D8 slimline style blades. ? cuts well but more power is needed to feel professional. Id say its also too skinny for the hand to have a precise gripGood dope as case but after cutting like a weeks the whole blade lever and case broke I thought it was a broken one that I recieved but I bought 3 of them and they all broke the same way it would really be awe if they where made more durable cus they look ? but they break after usingI needed new housing for my Wahl magic clips and these where a perfect fit. Great replacement.I just received these clippers. As others have stated superb quality especially for the price . I got them for about $18 and they are nice and heavy they've got a great weight to them very sturdy no plastic at all to speak of. All in all they look excellent they came fully charged and are very quiet. You can't get anything for $18 these days and to get an item of this caliber was extremely surprising. Thank you
