These blinds are one of the best purchases I’ve ever made for my home! They look great, work great (up & down action super nice & quiet), and these installed in @5 min. per window! I don’t know if I’ve just never noticed non-drill blinds before or if this is a new “invention”, but it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread. I’m very happy and money well spent - a bargain really!For reference, I got the “mocha” color which allows for some light filtering by day, but I really don’t need to pull down my shades until nighttime. Great neutral color that blends easily with my curtains & decor.These shades saved me so much money over custom made brand named shades. They install in under 5 minutes if you have someone to help you. I installed one myself and got a friend to help with the other two windows. Be sure to measure carefully and order according to the instructions during the ordering process. I was able to install the shades behind my lace curtains also on tension rods. My windows look great and I have more privacy.My new apartment is pretty shabby, and the filthy broken blinds were the cherry on top. These were the best solution for me—super easy to install on my own, nice quality, and they instantly made the place look classier. (It needs a lot of help in that department.) Photos show before and after for comparison.BTW, if you’re a landlord, you really should provide basic window treatments. Blinds are fixtures! You’re already getting half your tenant’s paycheck, but you could get even more if you invested some of that income into keeping your properties looking nice. Just saying.A great solution for when you don't want to drill into walls. The spring mechanism popped out a few times in trying to install; took about a half hour for two blinds, not as quick as some suggest but easy enough.We have very shallow windows that have stepped sides. I was able to make these work by inserting a shim to broaden the side frame. I'm a 70+ grandmother and I did the installations myself with no problems!Arrived in time with expected size and quality. The only flaw was the tension bracket part - the cover slider doesn’t move smoothly and is easy to break out of main part. But overall satisfiedLove it! Very easy to use.
