As advertisedI tried thes and it failed to work, maybe my impact driver isn't strong enough. It screws into the fire wood (bout 3" diameter) and just gets stuck. Sure won't split Maple.I did just as the product told me. It twisted the shank on the first bit. Had to try with any shank from the kit. Would not split anything. Had to beat the end out with a hammer.This product broke on the first try. The shank that threads into the wood bit is made of very cheap metal. It should be made of a higher grade steel. You get what you pay for I guess.It jams into the wood ... It does not work as advertised.
